The "Phone Eating Black Hole!"

My house is under construction. I'm getting it ready to put on the market. As a Realtor, I know you need to have updated kitchens and baths to get the most bang for your buck! Well, I removed the brick (yes, real brick - but thin) back splash behind the counter. Along with that went the drywall. I now have studs behind the counters with open space between them. I don't want to take out the old counters until I can install the new ones. I don't want to put in new drywall until the new counters are installed. I put my stuff down in the kitchen when I came home, ate something, then decided to go to bed, read, watch tv, and just relax since I have a 7:00am appointment tomorrow. I pick up my phone and "toss" it into my purse that is sitting on the cooktop. "Bounce" goes my phone. I immediately think, "Uh Oh! I don't like the sound of that!" Yes, my phone is now at the bottom of the black hole behind my kitchen cabinet. Of course there wasn't anything there to stop it. Fortunately I have a flat top cook top and not either a gas stove or the electric burner type stove. It would have been much worse for me to climb on one of those to reach down in this "black hole." After a while of different reaching techniques and attempting to make my arm grow a few more feet, I remembered that I had given my Mom something to grab things after her stroke a couple of years ago. So my phone was saved to give me more trouble another day.......
